On Saturday 8th April 2017 the sun was shining brightly in Cambridge for Steph’s Hen Weekend. An incredibly cheerful group of Hens arrived at Bodywork Company Dance Studios ready to strut their stuff for ninety minutes and boy did they boogie!!
I’d already been told that Steph and Si’s favourite song was “Shake it off” by Taylor Swift and couldn’t have been happier to choreograph a routine for the Hen’s! I later found out that the routine would be performed at the wedding and they wanted to include Si in too, what a bonus!!
All of the Hens were so full of energy and really raring to go. The atmosphere was buzzing, everyone got involved and worked so hard on the routine, it looked awesome by the time we’d finished. We even added in the section where Steph would go and grab Si to join in. They planned to freestyle in the middle of the circle formed by the hens at the bridge of the song (My ex-man brought his new girlfriend She's like, “oh my God” etc etc. I could really imagine the two of them having a really good time dancing to the song in the middle of the circle).
The finished product was absolutely brilliant and I’m looking forward to seeing a recording of the routine on the big day itself! Wishing Steph and Si lots of love, health, wealth and happiness for the future and enjoy the big day in June!
